BlackHeart Bike Company founder Zach Lambert recently visited Lone Pine, CA to explore Horseshoe Meadow Rd. It's little known climb that rivals some of the best and biggest in the world both in terms of stature and views.

Zach rode his BlackHeart Allroad Titanium bike with a pair of Hunt Carbon 650b wheels with IRC Boken 47 tires. Although typically reserved for gravel rides, the bigger tire provided a much appreciated level of comfort, grip, and confidence on the rough, frost heave-cracked pavement – especially on the descent where a mistake could mean a long trip back down to the valley floor.
